Retracing the steps of the Romans

We have so much to thank the Romans for. When they conquered the Germanic provinces on the Rhine 2000 years ago, they brought wine stocks with them – the origins of Pfalz viniculture. The Roman legacy is found in other places, too. For example in the Terra Sigillata Museum in Rheinzabern, 20km (12 miles) from Landau, which documents the development of the Tabernae settlement.
