The defining feature of the Wine Route

Only 24km (15 miles) to the south-west of Landau stands the German Wine Gate, the landmark that has become a defining feature of the Wine Route. While there, simply wander over the border to France just a stone’s throw away and discover Wissembourg, a charming town with winding alleyways, old timber frame houses, churches and a small monastery.
